Charity Ball, Reading Concert Hall - 27 October 2012

We were delighted to have been invited to do a surprise performance for the Duchess of Kent House Charity 20th Anniversary Gala Ball at the Reading Concert Hall.

We performed a selection of our favourite songs from our current repertoire. It also gave us the chance to experience the wonderful acoustics of the Reading Concert Hall.

Remix Voices before their performance

Remix Voices performed whilst the guests were enjoying their coffee after the meal. The Charity Ball gave us a great opportunity to perform in our finery.

Choir Remix also performed their very first flash mob during the welcome drinks for the event. They were in small groups mixed in with the guests, and one group started off before being joined by the others, one group at a time. It was a great surprise for the guests as they realised what was going on.

Electric Theatre, Guildford - 23 to 26 May 2012

Our second run of concerts at the Electric Theatre proved to be very popular with a large number of seats sold each night.

Our new set of contemporary songs plus our "a cappella" singers in Choir Remix and our all female Remixtures group together put on a very successful and enjoyable concert.

Combined Remix Voices at the Electric Theatre

Our Musical Director, Dave Smith, also played solo guitar including some of his own compositions.

The audience went home at the end of each evening with at least one memorable melody running through their heads.
